How to Care for
Your Moonlit Ink
Keep your jagua designs crisp, bold, and long-lasting with these simple steps.
2. Remove Tape Carefully After 3–4 Hours
Gently scrape off dried gel with the edge of a credit card or dry paper towel.
Do not use water to remove it—just brush it off dry.
You may see little to no stain right away. This is normal.
Let the Gel Dry (Important!)
Don’t touch it! Jagua stains on contact.
Let the gel dry completely (at least 20–30 mins).
Avoid smudging, sweating, or rubbing the area.
3. Ink Darkens Over Time (Like Magic)
The stain will develop over 24–48 hours.
Avoid excessive water, sweat, and friction during that time.
No scrubbing, pools, or hot tubs for at least 2 days.
The final color will be a deep blue-black and can last 1–3 weeks.
4. Want It to Last Longer?
Keep the area moisturized with a natural balm or oil (we make one!)
Avoid exfoliating, shaving, or rubbing.
Apply our Aftercare Balm daily for max results 🌿
